There are no anonymous members
Seeing the real person behind the avatar and nickname helps other members to better connect with that person. And not being anonymous usually positively impacts the behavior of the person themselves. We don't require you to use your real name and photo (though this is welcome), but we ask you to at least share some of your social media, blog, or whatever else home you have on the internet.
Don't repost or share any info from here
Oaza is a gated community, and we expect a certain degree of privacy, so we ask you to not repost any message or share any info from here outside, unless you have consent of all affected members.
Don't be a jerk
Oaza is no place for trolling, rudeness, harassing, or name-calling. Please treat everyone with respect (even if you don't like what they're saying). Or else you'll get bonked (and banned).
Assume good faith
Online communication is tricky sometimes. It's not anywhere near the expressiveness of offline communication, where you can use your voice, adjust tone, and pay attention to facial expressions and gestures. So it's only natural that sometimes misunderstandings happen. But we believe that all our members are good people and don't mean any harm. We hereby ask you to assume the good intention of other members in any ambiguous situation and communicate openly, rather than jumping to conclusions.
Don't look the other way
If you're witnessing something you believe has no place in Oaza, please speak up. Either to involved parties or to the admin. Keeping the community up to standards doesn't mean just following standards yourself, but also calling out anyone who doesn't.
Don't post NSFW content
No sexual or graphic violence content is allowed here.
Don't try to sell or promote something here
We'd love to hear about what you're currently working on or any juicy stories from backstage. Feel free to share even most boring details about your hobby or project. Who knows, maybe they sound boring only to you :). But you wouldn't post marketingy sales message to group chat with your friends, would you? This kind of messages is not welcomed in Oaza either. Sharing links to your shop, content made by you, or mentioning you perform some services is ok, as long as it's not obtrusive.
